She started her career at Ward as a World Language teacher and in 2013 she became a Diverse Learners teacher.
Mrs. Jesus understands that learning is not a "one size fits all" journey, and she works very hard to present academic concepts in authentic and interesting ways. She strives to celebrate the unique strengths of each student, and help connect these strengths and passions into concrete, long-term goals. She finds an incredible amount of happiness from seeing the gains her students make, and hopes to connect with parents in order to maximize student potential. She is very thankful to be a part of the James Ward community.
Mrs. Jesus spends most of her spare time taking her seven year old son to after school activities. She loves to travel, visit her family in Spain and going to the beach.
