Welcome to First Grade!

Hello Parents and Students of Room 102 and Welcome to First Grade at James Ward Elementary!

During the first 8 days of school, we will be focusing on routines and habits that will insure we can be successful teachers, learners, leaders and partners.

We will introduce our 7 habits/Leader in Me -social emotional curriculum.

We will organize our supplies and learn the geography of the school and classroom.

We will familiarize ourselves with the schedule, pace and tempo of the school day.

We will agree upon rules, regulations and strategies to keep us safe and healthy.

We will get to know each other and have FUN!!!!
