All about Ms. Ferro

Hello! My name is Alicia Ferro and this is my 12th year teaching at James Ward School. This year, I will be the Diverse Learners Teacher for students in grades 7th-8th. I am looking forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year. My goal is to provide your child with the necessary tools and assistance so that he or she has the opportunity to achieve educational success while in his or her least restrictive environment.

I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Marquette University, my master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, and my master's degree in Special Education from National Louis University. Prior to joining the James Ward team in 2012, I taught at UNO (Acero Schools) - PFC Omar E. Torres campus. There, I worked with sixth grade students and was the Case Manager.
